Who are we?

We are a team of serial entrepreneurs: Clémentine, Guillaume, and Pierre who have come together around a major climate issue: how to increase the number of energy renovations in individual homes on a large scale. We are passionate about tech and firmly believe that by harnessing technology for the climate, we can collectively meet this challenge.

We have just raised €3 million from top investors who believe in us. They are convinced that kelvin has a unique positioning and will be a game-changer in energy renovation!

We are in the process of building a team of rockstars to help us lay the foundations of kelvin. 🚀🎸

Why kelvin in 4 points:

1. By 2050, all buildings in Europe must be carbon-neutral (currently, they account for 40% of European energy consumption and 34% of CO2 emissions). To succeed, we need to increase the number of energy renovations by 10 or 20 times. 💪
2. 75% of energy renovations fail; they don't lead to an improvement in the energy performance certificate (DPE or EPC). 📉
3. Our approach: standardize housing renovation plans and make recommendations more reliable in a market where this doesn't exist yet. 🎯
4. Our product: based on an address and a photo and/or video tour of a property, kelvin automatically estimates the initial DPE and generates one or more renovation plans tailored to the owner's needs. 🎥

And here's the fifth point, always interesting: we already have a product and customers 😃

Last but not least: we have 2 offices (Paris: product & tech and Nantes: sales & marketing), our telecommuting policy is 2 days remote and 3 days in the offices.
